Once you enter our air-conditioned practice, you will be warmly greeted by one of our reception staff. With our generous reception desk, you need not wait to be attended to.

In our bright and spacious waiting room, you can sit in comfort and enjoy the most current magazines, books and newspapers on offer.
We have 3 large consultation/treatment rooms each equipped with the latest treatment chairs and instruments to provide you with the best treatment outcome, whilst making your visit to us as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
At Junction Podiatry, we also have a dedicated room for computerised video walking and running (biomechanical) analysis, also known as computerised video gait analysis. Using a multi-speed electronic treadmill on a purpose-built elevated platform, a digital video camera is used to analyse your individual walking and running style.
All this is connected to a computer station which runs a specifically designed computer program called SiliconCoach Pro®.
Using the program’s easily understood graphic display, your Podiatrist can demonstrate your individual problem. With the synchronised spilt screen display, we can demonstrate your walking or running style before and after treatment. You can see, for example, how your foot functioned before the use of new footwear or prescribed foot inserts (depending on the form of your treatment).

We can also give you a copy of your analysis on CD, which can be viewed on any Windows based computer. This is particularly beneficial when shown to another treating practitioner or sports coach who may also be involved in your management.
Junction Podiatry also has an onsite orthotics or prescription shoe insert modification room. Fitted with all the necessary equipment and custom-designed dust extraction ventilation system, we can often adjust or manufacture some devices onsite. This means you don't have to wait weeks for a laboratory to make minor adjustments to your device, saving you the time and the inconvenience of being without your shoe inserts or innersoles.
Another feature of Junction Podiatry's facilities is a small, dedicated procedure room for minor ingrowing toenail or wart removal procedures.
We pride ourselves at Junction Podiatry on our cleanliness and instrument sterilization procedures. All of our staff are trained to be meticulous in instrument preparation.
All our general treatment and minor surgical procedure instruments go through a multi-step preparation process. This includes enzyme removal pre-soaking, manual cleaning, ultrasonic instrument washing, instrumentation milk and then placement in individual instrument bags ready for sterilization using Australian Standards and equipment.
All our staff and practitioners are current with St John Ambulance certified Advanced Resuscitation courses for the First Aid safety of all patients and visitors at Junction Podiatry.![]()
